Ordering:

To begin the ordering process,  please send an email via the contact form letting us know what date you'd need a cake, what design you had in mind, how many you'd be serving and the location of delivery. DDC will then provide a custom quote.

 

All custom cakes start at $350 plus delivery fees calculated by distance plus tolls.(minimum order,  $350 plus delivery, except. readydesign© selections) All vehicle cakes start at $500. These are the base prices;  prices are determined on a project by project basis determined by  the complexity of the design and servings required.

 

Cakes requiring internal structures such as a standing dog or stork,  for example, require considerably more time, skill, and  materials and have prices that reflect those factors. A per serving price is determined by the complexity of the design. Per serving prices vary from $7.50-$20+ per serving. This per serving price is then multiplied by the amount of servings required.For example: a cake serving 100 could range anywhere from $750-$2000+ based on how complex the design is.

 

For those on a budget, a selection of pre-designed cakes are available on the ready design©  page, prices vary.  When you're ready to place an order, DDC will send you a link to an order form to submit. On the form you will select your payment option.

 

An order is confirmed only when both a completed order form and non refundable 50% retainer has been received by DDC. *Orders with less than two weeks notice must be paid in full at time of order.* You will have 3 days to complete the transaction or your space is released to others. Certain occasions such as weddings, large events when collecting balance upon delivery is typically inconvenient , balance is due no later than 2 weeks prior to delivery. Wedding/ special event contracts are required for these cakes.

Orders may be placed as much as 6 months in advance.

ORDERS ARE TAKEN VIA EMAIL ONLY*

    This allows us to exchange images and maintain a digital record of all we discuss.

*Consultations/tastings are held for cakes serving 150 or more only* A fee of $50 must be paid in advance via credit card to reserve your consultation.. If order is booked, fee is deducted from your total.

 

A minimum of two weeks notice is required for all orders, however we often book up much, much sooner. Dates are subject to availability. It is not at all unusual for me to book up months in advance at times, so the earlier you can contact me the better. Orders may be placed as much as 6 months in advance.

 

On rare occasions we may be able to accommodate  shorter notice orders (minimum one full week ) if our schedule allows. These orders must be paid in full at the time the order is placed. Rush fees of 25% apply.

Payments can be made online through paypal. DDC will send a payment request/ invoice if you choose this method of payment. Paypal securely accepts all major credit cards. You do not need a paypal account to pay.
